Zach is an associate with Milligan and Hern’s where he represents clients in disputes related to vehicle accidents and asbestos litigation. Zach received his Dual Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. He went on to work in Security at a Nuclear Power plant in Upstate NY before pursuing his law degree. He and his wife moved to Charleston in 2016 and he graduated Cum Laude from Charleston School of Law in 2019.

During his time in law school, Zach was an active member of the Moot Court Board. He was also on staff,  assisting law students with legal research as well as providing them with technical support and expertise. In the last 2 years of his law school journey, he clerked at several law firms in Charleston where he expanded his experience into several different areas of litigation.  He enjoys delving into research and understanding the complexity of the law related to many different subjects; so much so that he spent time working on investigative research for several other law firms while completing his studies.

Prior to joining Milligan & Hern's, Zach worked for a firm in downtown Charleston where he represented clients in various Construction defect and Real-estate litigation cases.

When he isn’t working,  Zach enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife (Morgan) an accomplished nurse and soon-to-be Nurse Practitioner and their two loveable pups. Having grown up in the Finger lakes region of New York, they love swimming, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and of course fishing whenever possible. Anything water-related is where you can find them in their downtime, enjoying all the beautiful sun and water that Charleston has to offer!
